A Supportive & Nurturing Environment For Your Child
St Mark’s Preschool and Long Day Care Centre has been operating since 1973, as a Ministry of St Stephen’s Presbyterian Church (Church On The Hill), West Tamworth, and has had a long history of serving the local community.
St Mark’s boasts three large playrooms, catering for threes, fours, and fives in their own space with peers their own age. Each room has a welcoming feel, ample educational resources to challenge your child and a program which reflects current interests and children’s voices.
We promote a play-based curriculum, believing this is how children best learn and thrive in their preschool years.
A Caring, Natural Environment
Our staff are all fully qualified with a wide variety of experience in Early Childhood Education who aim to maximise each child’s potential in a Christian, caring environment. We value our relationships with families and invite participation in all aspects of our daily program. We believe these strong relationships are pivotal to the holistic wellbeing and development of the children in our care.
We have the largest outdoor play area in town, with an abundance of shade and natural spaces to interact with and explore. A digging pit, meandering creek, sandpit, in-ground trampoline, and monkey bars add to a large array of loose parts items, making outside time a pure delight.
